                                                                         The road to Wulingyuan Scenic Area   

With the rapid development of tourism, Zhangjiajie's highway transportation system has also grown better. To date, it has formed a complete transportation network which takes downtown Zhangjiajie as the center , covering  5 cities and 17 districts  and counties. The expressway between Zhangjiajie and Changde has been  completed, which makes it more convenient and comfortable for travelers to visit Zhangjiajie . 

All central scenic areas of Wulingyuan are served with cable cars, environmental-protecting sightseeing cars and taxies.

Roads between cities and scenic areas are national high-grade roads.

It only takes about 3 hours from Zhangjiajie to Changsha, Capital of Hunan, as the two places are connected by an expressway.

80% of Zhangjiajie’s traveling vehicles are new and easily accessible, which can satisfy the transportation demand from tens of thousands tourists a year.
